According to the ‘Guidelines for the feeding of infants and young children’ by Malaysia's Ministry of Health, solid foods should be introduced to breastfed and non-breastfed infants beginning at 6 months of age.

The introduction of solid foods between the age of 4 to 6 months can only be considered on an individual basis for infants with poor growth after all efforts have been made to improve milk feeding.

Hence, as a general guide, we recommend starting Little Judah's baby food from around 6 months.

When introducing your baby to new foods, it's always a good idea to test for allergies to individual ingredients. You can do this by slowly adding one new food at a time to your baby.
Little Judah's baby food is carefully crafted with a blend of various ingredients, making it difficult to pinpoint which ones may trigger an allergic reaction in your little one.

It's important to note that while our products are free from the top 8 food allergens as listed by FDA, we recommend introducing new foods to your baby gradually every 2-3 days. This approach enables you to easily detect any potential allergen if one occurs.

In fact, breast milk naturally provides 40–50% of its calories from fat — roughly 30 grams of fat per day for babies between 6 months to 1 year old. That’s a powerful reminder of just how essential fat is during this critical stage of growth.

At Little Judah, we include only high-quality, naturally occurring fats — from meats, extra virgin olive oil, and virgin coconut oil. We never use GMO or highly processed seed oils like canola, sunflower, rice bran, or corn oil. Because your baby deserves the best in every bite.

We do not add any refined sugar, natural sweetener, or sugar alternatives in our product. The sweetness in our product comes from naturally occurring sugars from fruits and vegetables.
We believe real food is the best source of nutrition. Fortification usually means adding synthetic, lab-made vitamins — which may look similar to natural ones, but your baby’s body doesn’t always process them the same way.

Instead, we use nutrient-dense ingredients that naturally provide the nourishment your baby needs. All our products had gone through a high heat and high pressure retort process so there is no need to refrigerate unopened jars. Just place them in a cool and dry place away from direct sunlight. However, once you’ve opened the jar, be sure to refrigerate it and consume within 24 hours of opening.
Yes, you can microwave our products — just be sure to remove the metal lid first. 
For unopened jars:

You can serve it straight from the jar, or warm it by placing the glass jar in a bowl of warm water or microwaving it — just remember to remove the metal lid first.

For opened jars that have been refrigerated:
We recommend warming the food slightly to bring it closer to room temperature, which can be gentler on your baby’s tummy. Again, you can warm it in warm water or microwave a small portion — just avoid reheating the same portion more than once.
If you feed directly from the jar, we recommend refrigerating any leftovers and finishing it within 24 hours.

If you scoop out the food using a clean, dry spoon, you can refrigerate the rest and use it within 2–3 days.

Storage tips:
Always close the lid tightly before storing in the fridge.
Reheat only the portion you need — avoid reheating the whole jar more than once.
Do not leave opened jars at room temperature for extended periods.
While we are not officially halal-certified, all our products are pork-free and lard-free, and we take great care in selecting clean, high-quality ingredients.
We are not certified organic — but we do our best to keep it clean and natural. No weird additives, no nasties — just wholesome ingredients we’d feed our own child.
We love that you're thinking about recycling! Our lids are typically made of steel or aluminum, and are widely accepted in most recycling programs — just give them a quick rinse and place them in your household recycling bin.

As for glass jars, recycling in Malaysia can be a bit more challenging. Many centers no longer accept glass because it requires careful sorting by color and type and must be clean and contaminant-free.

Some gated communities in the Klang Valley have started dedicated glass recycling efforts. If you live in one of these areas, check with your community management to see if glass collection is available.

To prepare your jars for recycling:
Remove the metal lid and recycle it separately
Remove any labels or stickers
Wash and dry the jar thoroughly
Check with your local recycling provider before placing glass in the bin

If recycling isn’t possible in your area, consider reusing the jars for snacks, crafts, or storage — they’re food-safe and make great organizers!
